I just bought a 07 Ram 1500SLT with 4.7l and 6 speed manual, when the engine is idling and driving there is a ticking noise from under the truck , it is best heard below the drivers side door,took it to the dealer and they started another 4.7 and heard the same noise, they told me this was just normal engine noise.

Is this true any ideas what it could be?

 

No idea what it is... But i do know the tick very well.. had it when i had my 4.7...
