Quality of black Nerf bars

Quality of black Nerf bars
I am thinking of getting some nerf bars, and I'm not crazy about the polished stainless ones. Does anyone have any of the black powder coated bars? If so, what brand, and how are they holding up as far as chips, scratches, rust, etc...? I'm looking at Nasta and Westin, but I also like the N-Fab steps. My 04 is Atlantic blue, so I think the black bars would look better than polished. Thanks for your input!!

RE: Quality of black Nerf bars
I got the Westin Platnum Series... Bought them for my 05 in early 05... and Just put them on my 07 a couple months ago... Only had to touch up the paint on the bottom where all the rocks and dirt(i'm assuming) were kickin up and beatin the bar.. Other then that... Great...

I did order them directly. They are heavy duty 35+ pounds apiece and are just under ten feet long. I went with them because I wanted a wheel to wheel bar for my quad cab with an 8 foot bed and the selection goes down with that combo. The bars were 580 shipped to my door by semi. They are low to the ground without a little lift. I plan on a body lift in the future. I put mud flaps on when I bought them so I have had no chipping issues.

I also have Black Powder Coated. I love them. I am not a Chrome fan at all and these look great on my black truck.
They have done well. no scratchs at all. I am not sure of the brand but I will look. Mine was part of my deal from the dealer. I told them I wanted the black bars and a black spray in liner and they had it done at the price I was quoted before they knew I wanted the extras. I know I paid for them but I didn't pay anything over what our deal was from the start.
I sort of told them get them done or the deal is off and the salesmen said no problem. The bars was on my truck when I picked it up but I had to take it and have the liner put in. I liked it that way because now the guy that did my liner knows me and not the salesmen. I had to take it back to him once because of over spray.
Anyway. You will be happy with the black. Just be sure they are Powder Coated and not painted. Powder Coat holds up better and is harder to scratch in my opinion.
