Default thinking about trading

I looked at a Jeep Cherokee SRT8 this morning and am thinking of trading my truck in. I got them down to 37 on the Jeep and they will give me 18 on my truck(04 reg cab22k milesCAI, Comp 268 cam, locker w/4.56 gears aftermarket Infinity audio system, factory 20's with new perelli tires, 6.1L injectors, fastman throttlebody, Barry Grant fuel pump, Pacesetter long tubes with 2Flowmaster 50hd's) what do you guys think? I think my truck is as fast as the Cherokee,or real damned close, but the Cherokee has tons more room. I am in a delima.....

If that's what you want, I say go for it. But as far as "room" is concerned, I'd ask this: how often do you need the "room" in the back the Jeep provides v. the "room" in the bed the Ram provides?

I just bought my Ram in June after having a Wrangler for two years (and having owned nothing but trucks since 1990). The Jeep (not a comparison to the Jeep you're looking at) was fun to drive, but I got tired of borrowing my buddy's Tacoma for trips to Home Depot, the dump, getting mulch and, of course, throwing a few deer in the back.

I will personally never not own a truck from here on out, but that's up to you to decidewhether or not a truck to you is a driver AND a tool, or just a driver.

My truck is pretty much just a toy right now anyway, I have an 82 3/4 ton 4wd with a 71 440ci in it for the grunt work, the A/C even works on it, I got all the goodies to do the engine swap from a 76 Ramcharger with a 400 ci in it, but thats another story. I like this Jeep, but I will be taking a beating on my truck with all the mods, Plus the Jeep weighs 4800 lb. On the bright side, Hennessey does a 600 hp turbo conversion on them..... HMMMMM

Well, I just got back from the dealer, I got them down to 37k and I am leaning real hard toward getting this Jeep. The only thing I dont like is the color, black, and the factory nav/entertainment system
