Sounds weird. Mine does not do that. When I hit the gas it goes, usually throwing me back into the seat hard too. I don't kow to much about hypertech, but I heard their programmers are not that good for the Hemi. Try putting the program back to stock and test it to see if you still have the same problem. Problem leaves, then it is the programmer, problem is still there, then you have another problem somewhere.

is he talking about when he pretty much floors it from like 40 mphish, it will downshift which will cause it to pause for a moment? that might be what he means.

from a dead stop it shouldn't happen.

I have noticed the same issue with my truck if i am understanding you correctly. It is very slight and is probably normal in my case. When I start out from a stop I feel that it has a an almost unnoticiable hesitation. I am going to be switching trans fuild next month mobil 1 and maybe that will make a difference. Ithink its just a slightly slow pedal response, I have to remember its a truck and not a sports car. I am also planning a programmer in the future. In my case what I feel is nothing that would prompt me to bring it in and have it looked at.

This is normal on 03,04 hemi's there is a slight pause when you floor it. My 05 hemi doesn't have this issue they changed the apps in o5 to a sensor on the pedal, it has no cable like the older ones this new sensor has no delay.
