Default 05' HEMI EGR valve replacement

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum. I came across it while doing some research for my truck. Can anybody offer any insight on how to change EGR valve? I ran codes yesterday and it popped up. The truck has been running very poorly for last three-four weeks-running very hesitant and stalling especially at slow speeds. I've never changed this part before and I believe I know where its located on truck but just not 100% sure. If I'm not mistaken isn't it located on the passenger side head with a metal tube going to the intake? I would appreciate anything that could help me.

Thanks, d.c.

Thanks for the image, that is the part I was referring to. Does the tube ever have to be cleaned? Also, do I need to do anything to reset the ECM or will that happen automatically?

Thanks in advance, d.c.

it will go away if you run it fixed for quite a while, otherwise you can clear it with a code reader or unhook the negative side of the battery for about 15 minutes
