Default V6 Manual

I currently own a 1994 white geo prizm and I am thinking about buying a new car. I have had many problems with it recently. For example I put about a quart of oil in it a week and I also believe that one of the four cylendershas blown out. I drive it a little rough but I like that i dont have any payments on it. My friend has a 2005 dodge ram that is an automatic V8and is fire engine red. Today I went to look at a 2005 Ram V6 manual with my friend Q that works at a dodge dealer and i really liked it.I also hadthem price my geo and they said that I would get $200 for it. My friend Isaiah said that was a bad deal.Anyone that knows about V6 manuals or Geo prisms please respond!

with the engine conditions of the prizm, i would say you are getting a decent deal for it. They will check it and notice what you have. They will either have it scrapped or try and wholesale it. As far as they are concerned, whatever they give you for the car will be taken as a lose.

I just bought a new '07 reg cab V6 and have put 1000 miles on it now. I love it. Don't know if the '05 uses the same 3.7 or not but it's fine for what I do. If you don't tow then it should be fine for an everyday driver. I would say any money back on your car is a good deal. No offense but I'm surprised the dealer didn't want you to pay them to take it.

get the 4.7 with a manual trans, *** good as the 3.7 is, the 4.7 is better...I understand this is a used truck and your not looking at a new one, the 4.2 is in the truck your interested in, basicly a 318 - two cy 318 ....

The V6is underpowered for the size of the truck, now is it a Quad or a Regular cab?, A regular might do fine, but for a quad you'll wish you gotten a V8. TRUST ME. If you are not looking into saving gas, do aftermarket mods (like exhaust), towing, then get the V6. But if later on you want to put a muffler to make it sound aggressive, or change the wheels to bigger rims, then forget it, save your money and get a V8, because it will never sound right and you will loose MPG. Just dont get a V6.

sell your car on your own if you think you can get more and give the money as a down payment.

Agreed. Sell it on your own (not to someone you know) and use that money for a down. You'd definitely get more if you sold it. As far as the V6, like was said, as long as you're nothauling or towing and it's a reg. cab short bed, I see no problem with it. Would be great for a daily driver, but don't buy the V6 thinking you're going to save tons on gas.
