Default 180 Degree Thermostat

Put in my Stant 180* thermostat on monday, did a coolant flush at the same time. Install was incredibly simple. I did pull a Pappy tho, except i dropped the hose clamp into my bucket of coolant instead. Took it on my 500 mile round trip tuesday - today. Ran at about 1/4 of the heating guage the whole time. Normally ran just about half. I saw about 14 mpg going up there doing maily 85-90 mph, and about 17 mpg going home doing 70-75 (got a speeding ticket on the way up there, didnt want another) I also felt a little more "jump" as i'd go around cars. I have to say I'm quite impressed so far!

yeah i also have the Jet 180...after i put it in i did a 120 mile road trip (60 miles no trailer, 60 miles with 6'x14' trailer [1400lbs]) mileage going to get it was pretty decent at 20.1 mpg but coming back i think it managed a whole 13.3 by the time i pulled in the driveway at home...

My most recent trip was tuesday when i moved from waterloo, ia to rochester hills, mi which was a grand totalt of 625 miles with the trailer fully loaded (stopped and weighed it and it came in at 7126 lbs) let's just say that i shouldnt have even bothered seeing what fuel mileage was, but it came out to be 10.2 MPG running anywhere from 70-80 MPH the whole way
