i have a 2003 QC and there is a hook on the passenger side of the dash. Just wondering if anyone knew what exactly that is for!

 

its a bag hook. Hang your plastic bag there on the way
home from picking up you Foster's dark cans.

If you are referring to the hook at the BOTTOM near the floor it is to hold wires going from the passenger side to the AC plug at the bottom of the other side of the dash. Maybe for a cell or a laptop. Its purpose is to keep the wires pinned back in case you have a middle passenger.
