I really would like to get a AT3030 dumped but I am worried it might be too loud in the cab of the truck (05 hemi QC). Can anyone share with me how loud it is in the cab? Also, where is the best placement for the AT3030 to be dumped?

do you have any resonators on your setup?

 

loud as in flowmaster 40, or way past that?

 

What is the noise difference when you have the electric cutout. You know when you can have it dumped, or can close the valve using a silinoid and have it run through.

 

well got to youtube and listen to some with super 40's i think its louder i have the stock converter on there still other than that nothing else. a cut out would run open pipes from the headers or manifolds that would way louder than what i have

 

i have the original flowmaster 40 dumped. sindle in dual out. its pretty darn loud. had it dumped over the axle, but wasnt loud enough. so i said the heck with it. ill have to deal with the drone and went back and had turn downs put in place directly behind the muffler. check out the clip on my profile. my windows are rolled up and it still sounds pretty loud in it.
