I got a 04 Ram QC Hemi SLT 4X4 and I get around 18 mpg when I dont ride it hard. (which I do most of the time) The only mod I have at the moment is a Flowmaster 50 series catback.

I've heard people say that the 50 series Flowmaster is the most recomended for the 5.7L Hemi. I even talked to a guy that had a 40 series and switched to a 50 series and he said he could really tell the difference in the 50 series.

I have a 2004 1500 QC 4x4 with the off road package that I bought brand new. The truck is still bone stock, and I have used about 90% 87 octane since I bought it. I get 13 mpg around town, and I get 15-17 on the interstate, depending on how fast I drive, and where it is (lots of big hills around here in VA and WV). Just recently I started using 89 octane, and I did notice my around town mpg go up to 14. I'm not going by the overhead display, I am resetting my odometer at each fill up and calculating each tank based on the next fill up. It has consistently been this way, and nothing seems to change it. One positive thing I see, in the summer, there is absolutely no difference in mpg when I run the A/C!! I love my truck, and really wouldn't change a thing about it, except to give it more mpg!!!

I live in Lynchburg, VA, but grew up in Charleston, WV and go home occasionally. I also lived in Winchester from 2000-2003, and really liked the area up there.

my 2005 dodge ram 1500 gets 15.2mpg in the city with my acceleration staying at around 2100 - 2400rpms .
Ive got a cold air intake with custum ducting which brings cold air from the outside and blows it right around the filter. Ive also got flowmaster 40series delta flow with two turn downs right after the muffler.
