anyone else taller than the average?!? i'm 6'5", love my truck, but can't find total comfort for my legs unless they are fully out stretched... which is far from impossible in most any vehicle. i traded in my 01 cherokee in january to get my ram, and i had a nice 6" seat extension fabricated so that my legs were straight. i dont think that i need 6" in the truck, but i def. need something! anyone have something like this? know of anything manufactured? anything? beuler?!

 

You could always do what Hightower did in "Police Academy" and yank the front seat and sit in the back seat.. hehe.. But other then fabbing what you need.. i don't know what to say...The back seat is already small enough... But i find that my seat is all the way back... Good luck...

 

I can't help you on that one [sm=sorry.gif]... I am 6'3" and I get sooo comfortable in my truck I could fall asleep!

 

I'm 6'5" but I have a taller torso, not legs. I fit alright in my truck. Sorry

 

I am 6'6' and dont have a problem. I have it all the way down and back with the pedals as far back and I am comforable. But I have the megacab so it may be different. I travel ~6,000 a month and dont have any issues.

 

Do you have electric or maual sliding seats?

 

You might check into a retrofit for the adjustable pedal option that came with my Laramie edition*** it might give some measure of relief? Probably a dealer only item if available and I think it was around a $140.00 add-on?

i have a manual ajustment with no pedal adjustment.

 

I'm 6'4 and do an a$$ load of driving and i find my ram is way more comfortable than anything else out there. When i go and buy a car the first thing on my list to check is if i fit in the darn thing lol cause a lot of cars *cough* imports *cough* assume no one over 5"10" or something drive but yeah sorry about the extension, i dont see why u need one though are you like all legs and no torso? cause even with my work boots on i have plenty of room. I did read somewhere though that the adjustable pedals actually dont go as far back as the stock position. i read that in some article a long time ago when they first came out so i'd look into that too

 

I am about 6'7/8", 315lbs.

Not a small guy, but my Ram is fantastic as far as overall room inside the cabin. I used to think my old Caprice had a lot of space!

But, I do see your point of stretching your legs, that would be a nice thing to be able to do!
