I know this is an old thread but this vibration problem has not gone away. I just bought a used '03 Ram 1500 QC SLT with 30K miles. Recently I have been experiencing the vibration issue when driving between 65-75 mph. The truck did not do this at first and I began to worry that I bought a ruined truck so I decided to do some research and that's how I came to know this forum. I was relieved to see that it wasn't just my truck that was doing this. And after reading the captain's post it all makes sense now.

I bought the truck because I needed it for moving furniture into my new house. This made me remove the tonoeue cover once I was ready to move and after reading the captain's post, I realize that my truck did not vibrate prior to my removing of the cover.

Captain, you are a genius. Thank you for figuring this out. With my luck, I would have gone to a mechanic and forked out some serious cash while they "tried" to figure out what was wrong with my truck. Dodge should find a solution though, because the vibrations can be violent at times and I am surprised to that no one has crashed do to it. As soon as I am done moving, the cover is going back on because I hate bouncing around like a bobble head doll! And I can't drive 55!
