for some reason, my truck has an awful bounce on certain stretches of highway. it's not a bad highway cause i've driven several vehicles and never experienced it before. i test drove an identical vehicle from the dealership and same thing...bounce. i've got friends w/ qc sb trucks and they haven't experienced it so i guess it's just a qc lb issue on the 1500's. dealerships denies anything is wrong. so i bought the rancho 9000's...they helped a little but not much. as for the stock shocks...there is no rebound dampening, just compresion. if u compress them, they'll shoot right back out. they may have changed them after 04, i don't know. they also changed from torsion bar to coil spring front suspension for 06...that probably helped too.
