Just a quick speaker question....
Im sorry I dont have time to do a search, but I have one question.
Im looking at upgrading the speakers in my 07 QC,when I go to Crutchfield it says that I have 6x9's and 5.25.I went to best buy yesterday and was looking at some 5.25's.I started talking to one of the guys that works there, and according to their computer I should have 6.5's in the rear. Can someone set me straight?
Thanks

i dont know if its the same with the quad cabs, but with my rear speakers the cutout is only so big. very very few 6.5's would fit w/o cutting the hole larger, which made me use a 5.25. still had to drill new screw holes for them, no biggie there. i have found that it is eaiser to remove the panel and measure the cutout yourself. that way you know exactily what will or wont fit. Best buy is incorrect 99.9% of the time with just about everything, and crutchfield is incorrect 25% of the time when it comes to stock speaker sizes. i suggest you take the 20 min and check them yourself.

check the prices at wal-mart. they carry alot of the same speakers at half the cost of other retailers. i think the walmart product # 's may be unique so they wont match, but the speakers are the same.
