It started today and I bought my truck monday. Im PISSED, Chrysler said nothing we can do sorry. I wonder if I can return the truck and then buy it agian?
daamnn and I was pissed i bought mine in march! lol I'll be quiet now
I called Chryslers customer service and explained my situation and they told me someone "higher" up will call me back but they didnt know when they would.
Did you pick up your truck yet or just put money down on it? If only a deposit, usually $500, let them keep that and then order yourself another one!

Ok I bought a 2006 trx quad cab hemi about a year ago. I really wanted to get a sport or something w/o the trx sticker and 20"s. Got a good deal on this one so I took it. I just went back to dealer today and talked about trading in and getting a 2007 quad hemi thunderoad which has the look I want w/ the lifetime warranty I plan on drive the truck past its 70/7 warranty in 4yrs and keeping it for a good 6 or more. I use my truck for work and they pay me to drive it, but have to get a new vehicle ever 4 yrs.So after 4 yrs of money from work and after I finish paying off the rest I would end up paying 4000 more for the 2007 out of my pocket, question is do you think the lifetime warranty is work the extra $4000?? I am going to try and talk them down another 2 grand either in price of truck or trade in value. that would seal deal for me. Whats it worth ?????

If you will keep the truck for 10 years then I would say yes.

These are nice trucks but look at the 02 and 03's people have had some major problems with the drivetrain. A lifetime warranty is less to worry about.

How the hell did you get a 5/100,000? Did you pay for an extended warranty?

Triph 75, The extended warranty for $4000 would'nt be worth it.
I bought a extended 7year-70k warranty for a nominal fee. That said,... If I thought I really needed a extended or lifetime warranty on a new Ram, I would'nt buy a Dodge Ram in the first place. A extended warranty is a worst-case-scenario item that probably wont be used regardless how long you keep your truck. If you mod your truck, or really abuse your truck, Dodge will void the warranty anyway. Sleep well at night and keep your truck.

Mystro, you're probably right. Dodge will probably come up with every excuse in the world to void your warranty from putting an aftermarket CAI to exhaust. And it wouldn't suprise me in the least if they wanteddealer oil changes every 3,000 miles. 3,000.1 and guess what *VOID*.[:'(]

Yea....I bet the warranty is a sales push for a maintenance program (fluid changes, tire rotations, etc)...otherwise, you get nothing, notta, zilch when you need it.

I do like the fact Dodge put their name behind this...does throw out a nice confidence factor in their equipment if maintained properly (at least).

I love mods, but stick to bolts ons (like CAI and muffler only). This way, not only do I have access to my OEM equipment if needed, but the mods do not (or at least should not) void warranty. No aftermarket gears or other performance item like heads or headers until waaaaaay down the road...if then.
