Does anybody have a stereowiring diagram for a 2006 Ram 1500? Been looking for one with no luck. I am upgrading the stereo system (amps and speakers), but I want to keep the factory head unit. Thanx

your sound quality will suffer greatly if you keep the factory unit, any aftermarket will surpase it buy far.

I take it you want to know the wires that go to the speakers so you can splice them and connect them to a RCA cable to connect an amp. Right? This is a 2005, I dont know if it has changed.

You can DL the 2006 manual from here:

Hope you have bandwidth!!

Thanks for all the info. I got everything hooked up and it sounds really good. I ahve decided to go with an aftermarket radio due to the fact that I picked up a JVC for half price. I wanted to keep the factory radio for the ease of use, but this deal was too good to pass up. Thanks again for all the help
