yup, thats what i heard too, but 750 is alot. you have too follow maintenance to the letter, keep ALL receipts and get it checked over within 60 days of every 5 yr anniversary.
Okay, please clue me in..... When did chrysler start warrentys for life? What is the fine print, do you have to service your car/truck threw a chrysler dealership and are thier deductables?
Is this just a US. warenty? or applicable in Canada?

I purchased my 07Ram 1500 Hemi6/15/07 I purchased the extended warrenty 5 years 120,000 miles it was like 3,500 so will I get this back if I go with the lifetime or does anybody know hows it work. Lifetime sounds sweet any feedback would be great. Thanks
Wow, we paid $3,500 for the 7 year. I wish I was smart enough to think of the Lifetime. But hey, congrats dude! That's a great deal no matter who you are! If a company offers it, take it! Right?
I thought this was for Powertrain only....

Maybe I missed something above, but Dodge dealers (at least in Texas) use Fidelity warranty company which is a bumper to bumper warranty. The higher tier packages includes breakage cause by another part (i.e. maintenance item such as belts breaks, causes engine to overheat and fry heads...higher tier covers the break even though something else 'caused it')...this (like any warranty) would go along with moaning and griping to get it done I predict...nonetheless, a bought warranty through the dealer.
So is everyone here stating their 72 mos or 100,000 mile is a powertrain only warranty, hence why you are cancelling for the lifetime powertrain? The current factory (tx) powertrain warranty is 70/70k and 36/36k bumper to bumper.
Just curious.

I just talked to the dealer here. the lifetime (within 60 days of the announcement) you have two choices in buying that warranty. 1) $100 deductible = 950 bucks. 2) $0 deductible= 1100 bucks. And you have too keep all maintenance receipts. You can get your oil changed elsewhere but you must keep the receipt as proof. And within 60 dayss of your 5 yr anniversaries you must have it inspected. At the moment it is supposed to be free for the inspection. That will probably change as well. So if you lose even one receipt, you lose the warranty. It is non-transferable. In and industry where people change vehicles like underwear, its a gimmick. They figure it wont cost them much more than it did prior. This is from the company that use to have a 7/70 powertrain warranty, that now only has a 3/36 as a company standard. So as per the "can someone find and honest dealership" post, they will do their best to avoid fixing anything if they can. So the warranty is really a gimmick that will probably not carry much weight or truely cover anything.
