Default Thumbs up for Chrysler

Just got of the phone with them earlier and their going to give me the Lifetime Warranty even though I bought my truck last week. I know people think its a crap warranty but it beats a 36k mile warranty. I feel for the people who bought the extended warrantys.

I called there 1-800 about 5 times yesterday and twice today (just to annoy them) and each time they said someone higher up would give me a call back "sometime". Well someone finally called back today. The number that came up on my caller id was 248-944-7017, I dont remember his name but he said he was with Chrysler of Detriot. He siad he was only doing it because it was 5 days difference.

Another deciding factor when I picked a Ram was that Dodge went out of their way to cover a transmission issue on my 92 Stealth twin turbo. Its transfer case seized, breaking other parts of the tranny, and I was left paying over $5k to fix everything. A few months later they issued a recall and were willing to cover all expenses I had in fixing mine. I remembered that when I bought a 94 Stealth TT too.

My grandparents were thinking of either a new Tundra (would be their third) or a new Ram (since they like mine). This may be enough to sway the decision.

but well done for getting something for nothing !
