dont most rams with the 20s come with 3.92s? bc mine came with 3.55 and the small 17s and i paid some guy 800 dollars for the 20s and included were four new goodyear eagle LS2

How much should it cost me to get 3.92s installed and everything w/ or w/out LSD
I paid $1400 for 4.56's front & rear, master install kit, and Auburn Gear LSD + installation.
If yours is a 2wd then you can cut out about $400 for front gears & install, as you only have rear gears. Take another $400 if you choose not to go with the LSD. But if I had someone in there doing gears, I'd have the LSD done at the same time.

I've stated this before in other threads, but I believe the only setup who should even consider the 3.55 gears is maybe V6 or 4.7 v8, single cab, 17" rim, 2wd owners who NEVER intend to increase tire size or tow.
For all others, the 3.92's give much better over-all performance, and when tire size increases, so should the gears to 4.10 from anything larger than stock to 33" and 4.56 for larger than 33's.

I think i might just go with the 3.92 auburn gears w/out LSD because i dont really tow anything. Hopefully i can get this done for less than 500dollars
