Default headers and programmer

I'm looking to get headers and a programmer for my 03 4.7. should i go long or short tube? any suggestions on a programmer? i want a lot of power, and gas mileage would be great too!, what combo of intake/ exhaust/ programmer are yall gettin decent mileage with?

the longer the headers the more performance. I was told at my local performance center, that in my Hemi, shortty headers were a waste of money, not nearly enough gains to justify the cost.
As far as the tuner goes, you're gonna have let some of the 4.7 guys chime in on that.

The 4.7 motor is pretty bare on tuners...EXCEPT for your year. You can get the superchips 3715. 2003 is the only year they made a tuner for the 4.7

You might want to check into this, even tho it ain't a tuner/programmer, I thought it was pretty cool for you 4.7 guys. I could be wrong but...

Go with long tubes... the local guys to me have done several installs on trucks and know alot about the headers... Let me know if you would like their info... They sold me a Superchips for my old R/T
