How about in the centr console/armrest/middle front seat. I looked at my '02 and that looked like a cool out of the way place. Plenty of room, plastic surface to mount it to and keeps a hidden look.

I picked up the Cobra 75 WXST and installed and tuned it at the CB shop in about twenty- minutes. I have read the post on the Cummings thread an found the vents to the outside behind the rear seat. I was able to fish a wire behind and out to the space behind the cab and the truck bed.

The antenna is mounted to the top of the Trac Rac where I made a steel mounting plate for grounding. Signal is perfect!

I can't get my large hands between the two. I think it would be easier if I could remove the back seat back. I have the BENCH flip up rear seat and have not figured out how to remove the back and get straight access to the vents. ANY HELP? Or other locations for getting the antenna coax into the cab and to under the drivers seat without drilling holes?

Finally... got my cb in and working.
I didn't want to drill a hole for the antenna but I didn't want the wire showing either. So Dad and I drilled a hole and mounted it to the bed. I fabed a bracket to mount under the center seat(no drilling). I made the bracket so the cb will slide in and out and store in the lower center console. So, if I had to haul a third person up front I could. Hers some pics.

Also I can still use everything with it in place like the cup holders and console.

I don't see the pics bro, maybe I'll have to wait till I get home. I am on a government computer since I work for the Federal Government.
I myself have been thinking of fabing up some sort of bracket and mounting it on the front above the Tran hump. What do you all think?

Ok Redhemi, try looking in my gallery. I added a couple more pics so you can see what I did. I also put wire loom on the wires, just didn't have it done when I took the pics.

Hey Bro I had thought of doing that too. But I didn't have a bracket tat would stick out far enough from my handle to flip that center seat up. Think ya could hook me up. Let me know how much if you deside to.

Nice truck too by the way.
