I had the same problem with my '04. The "clicking and popping" would take place when I would make sharp left and right turns. I took it into the dealership and took a test drive with a technician. I believe they discovered that there was a leak in the power steering line. Whatever it was it was covered under my warranty. Was very annoying while it lasted though.

Good Times.

having the same problem. popping and clunking when i make sharp turns. believe it my upper and lower ball joint on my drver side and the lower ball joint on the passenger side. i figure this because thats where the rubber boots/seals are ripped..lower passenger, lower and upper driver. but i lifted my truck up and tried to move the tire to see if theres play and there IS in the driver side but not the passenger side

haha same here but it doesnt fix the problem bc i know it still esisits. but until i have my tires ordered and on their way and when i bring it to my shop to have them mounted and balanced and aligned and all that **** ill have them check my ball joints and go from there. i really wouldnt worry about the clunking sound besides for the fact that i heard you fu*kin tire can seperate from your truck!!!
