Default Why '03 2500 Hemi has one cat and others 2
Hi all, new to the forum and had a question.Was woundering why the '03 2500 Hemi has one cat on it and the newer ones have two.If anyone can tell me it would help me solve my mystery.

I even asked the dealers and they don't even know. Who knows? The mystery continues.

The Gross Vehicle Weight exempts it from standard emissions. 3500 and even some 2500 series are considered work vehicles and are usually ment for professional use so the emissions are more lax.

yea, I got two too, makes true dual exhaust easy, but I went 2 in 2 out on my muffler, kinda using as an "H" pipe also...
