That is true ^^^^^ there. I was listening to NPR and now even Summer Camps have to be careful. No towel snapping, no punishment under the light where mosquitos get you, no hazzing, no pillow fights, no trail hiking. Thanks to all our wonderful lawyers.

Yeah....it's getting to be so bad, that I WAS going to respond to your post, but due to current legal civil litigation, I don't think I'm legally allowed to...........[]

I dont think there is anything wrong with the train horns. If he goes around blowing it every 5 min then he has a problem. You can turn down the air so it wont be as loud, but sounds cool. Id say let him get it and just let him know what will happen if he doesn something wrong. I have already informed my son of it and I feel that he will make the right decisions. I dont see how a train horn is going to be illegal. When the trains honk them and someone gets scared who cares, so I dont see why if a truck honked it there would be any difference. There are sometimes when I am driving that people are pulling infront of me and my horn isnt loud enough. I know that when my son gets his we are going to leave the stock horn, but place another button to engage the train horns.

I have a dual set of 16 inch chrome air horns on my PT Cruiser. with the compressor and tank. Yes they are loud.I use them for car shows and parade's only. You should see the kids jump whenI hit the button. But on the open road ,no way .If you blow it and it causes an Accident you will pay .So the best thing to do is cut your grand sons air line until he grow's up some more.

I don't really see how air horns could be considered illegal. They've been sold on every vehicle w/ aGVW over #10ksince long before I came around. As for the usage, that is what's going to get him in throube. They've pretty much hit it on the head already. You can get a ticket for abusive use of a reg horn and got forbid he did scare someone that has a history of heart complications. If I were you, I'd start saving up for the legal fees.

Read half way down. (PA) An inspection mechanic could fail it. Misuse could get you cited.
