RE: 2x4 VS 4X4
Just so you understand why i ask.
i bought my truck for 1 month ago here in Denmark, a dealer has importet it to Denmark from Texas.
the price for it in Denmark is and hold on now is : 250.000 DK = $44.700
the car is from 2003 and the clock is at 41000 mph.
but thats not the only thing - 1 gallon gas cost $7,15
pick up your chin
yes its very expensive here in DK but we have a very good health sector we pay nothing if we get hurt - just tax of salary with is 47% thats too expensive but living here is good everybody gets help if needed.
but enof story telling for now.

RE: 2x4 VS 4X4
I dont think I quite understand whats going on here. . .are you just wanting to replace the tranny, or make a 4x2 into a 4x4???
if you are just replacing the tranny then yea, all you need is the tranny and the tail shaft since there is no transfer case. however if you are going from a 4x2 to a 4x4, you will need the transfer, drive shaft, front differential, half shafts, hubs, bearings, suspension parts, the list goes on. . .you would be better off getting a 4x4.
