Well I just got done ordering a 2008 Dodge Megacab 2500. I thought long and hard between the 1500 and 2500 decided to go with the 2500. I ordered a black laramie and can't wait to get it. I looked at the Ford and Chevy and did not like either on as much. I don't know if I made a mistake get the 2500 but it is what I wanted from the get go. The lifetime warranty is also an added bonus. So for now all I can do is wait till it comes in.

Did ya get the 6.7 CTD or HEMI? My dad just picked up the new 6.7 CTD and let me tell ya... HOLY ****!! HANG ON!! I guess I kinda under estimated the power of a diesel. Guess I was just used to my uncles old 6.5litre Chevy.

 

that 6.5 gm diesel is a go cart motor compared to the 6.7 cummins. I would assess a hemi was ordered cause you said the lifetime warranty is just an added bonus and the diesel is excluded from that offer. Cant wait for picks. congrats m8 and good luck.

Yea I got the hemi. It is going to be my daily driver back and forth to work. I just didn't see the need for the ctd. There are only two colors I liked and my wife liked black as well so their you go. My salesman said it would be six or seven weeks and he would let me know what state it was in each week. He said he could see when it goes to paint and stuff like that. The only thing I wish I could have gotten was all black grill like the sport truck.

 

I'd be willing to bet you could get it painted black for under 300 bucks.
