after taking a 5.7 tundra pretty good from a light last nite, I decided to play around a little today. I recorded the action with my phone. Shows a 0-60 of about 6 flat. Wow! i was thinking closer to 6.5-7secs. hemi regular cab on 20's. 3.92 rear end limited slip. i got a decent launch on the video clip. minimal tire spin. Bully dog power pup helped alot. The best time i had before was about 6.5 or so.

Wow good job on spanking that Tundra and the 0-60 times! So what RPMs are you launching at to get those numbers? Shoot the best 0-60 I got was a disapointing 7.4 and that was with a 2000rpm launch with alittle wheelspin.
Sounds awesome, and not to be a smart a** but by the timing on the video it took 9 secs from the time the needle left zero till it hit 60.
Ok I just timed that 0-60 time videowith a stop watch 10 times and I keep getting around 7 seconds. It was anywere from 6.86 to 7.02 seconds. Not sure how accurate a video is compared to real life though.
Yeah, I watched that earlier today and was about to mention the timing myself. It looked like 7 seconds to me. I paused right before take-off andI paused right at 60.

i didnt use the vid to measure my time. it's no where near accurate. its close though. i think the vid shows acceleration to 60 occured around 2-3 seconds to the 9 second range. that vid is 3gp from my cell phone. very chopy and has bad lag. the original vrsion before loading it to you tube has some breaks and pauses in it. also the vid does not show down 10ths of a sec. it rounds + or - 5 to the nearest second. anyway i used my g-tech meter to get 6 second numbers. it was something very close to 6 like 6.06 or something of the sort. for those that dont have one, get it! g-tech makes an awesome product and you get pretty accurate times. instead of having to make unsubstantiated claims youll have something to back it up. I made the vid to put on here for kicks..anyway.... still not fast enough for me. my next goal is forced induction of some sort. im leaning towards a procharger set up.
p.s. im heading to the drag strip to see if i can break 15 secs in the 1/4 this weekend. if i can get my hands on my buds 17's things look promissing. ill post my times sometime next week.

m15 > i think i launched at somewhere around 1500 rpm. seems to be the only way to keep my tires from breaking loose. anybody else getting axle hop under hard acceleration?
