thats the only problem with american cars is that they are very overrated, even with all those mods you still are jsut short of 300, while dodge claimed 325.. kinda rediculous.. i figure i mgiht as well jsut keep my truck slow as it is and if i want somethin fast i'll get atrans amor somethin

The 345hp Dodge claims is at the flywheel or engine not at the rear wheels. I think the horsepower loss from the engine to the rear wheels is about 20% for automatics and about 15% for manual transmissions. And I'm sure with a better tune and some cooler air he'll get much better dyno numbers.

I don't think something was 100% with the dyno.....or......the cam might have beeninstalleda tooth off? I've seen some 6.1 cams installed a little off and no CEL's shown.

No my cam isnt installed 1 tooth off. Im really not dissapointed w/those numbers. I saw dyno pull of a dynatech header truck w/supertruck and superchips pull almost the exact same power on 80 degree day. I have cam which only adds like AT most 20 ft lb of tq at like 17 hp. I know the cam puts me out of a/f ratio and im suffering from old o2 sensors. Reguardless it is what it is. Considering a 20% drive train loss that puts me at 362hp 406 ft of tq of tq on 100 degree day

i think somethins wrong with the dyno, cause i ran my truck on our dyno with only a CAI and i was at 270 HP 289 ft tq......i dunno to me it just sounds a lil low considering the mods you have, but the weather does play a factor in all that too....try runnin it again when it cools down to like the 50's and then dyno it and let us know what it ran
