After thinking about it, I cant say there is anything I dont like about it. Dang good truck.

 

i dont HATE anything about my truck but i dont like that fact that the chrome wheels are PLASTIC and crappy gas mileage (working on that issue)[sm=gears.gif]

 

The biggest things for me are the tranny, I don't like how it shifts. It seems a little gutless in higher gears. Don't like how the suspension feels a little "squishy" at times. And the grocery hook is stupid.

Other than that and a few small issues probably associated with age, its a great truck. I am happier with it than I thought I would be honestly. (I've always been a Ford guy.)

Othier wise, I'm happy , mo major complaints.

 

the only issues i have i can change cept one. i do wish it had a manual at times, other time not. Im not happy with the stance, on the change list. the rearend is too long, changing to a 4.10 on the list, lol. Other than that, i will keep her, and if i ever did decide to trade her, it would be for a CTD and nothing else.

 

Only had mine for 2 months. My trucks seems to have a bit too much wind/outside noise entering the cab. I just turn the Radio up and problem is solved. Not happy with my dealer, as they took over a month to get my tag stuff to the state.Do not remember who siad it, but I do not lik the plastic piece on the seat. I pull my leg up to my seat on long trips and it sticks me in the back of the leg. Other than that I am happy with my truck.

 

The stock rotors, I am getting a set of those power-slot rotors.....also the rear, I am getting ready to open her up and change the lube but I am scared to see what is going on in there.

 

My doors rattle, and I think I am going to switch to BOSE, and also put in some dynamat. Also, my shifts are a lot stiffer now, after I had the 46RE transmission rebuilt, new full time rear detroit locker, and 4.56 gears. Yeah my MPG has improved to 10 mpg, but now everytime I put it in gear or reverse, you can feel, hear and see that my truck just shifted. granted i am about 93,000 miles now, and i need and am going to change ALL of my fluids, i just think there is too much play now when it shifts. also, i couldve had stronger rear leaf springs, now i have more power/torque to the rear wheels and get wheel hop. air bags will fix that, and I might get some traction bars, depending on how well my traction improves on the slick pavement. my dashboard is cracked, anyones else's? The ring and pinion steering could be stronger. other than all of that, I LOVE MY TRUCK! DODGE ALL THE WAY!!! I would rather deal with these problems than even more problems with chevy or ford.

 

Personally I've had mine for a month now, and the only thing at the current time I don't like about it is the factory radio. It is terrible, but that's a simple thing to get fixed, witch I plan on doing in the next month...

 

i have a 08 quad hemi ,20 inch wheels
i have some issues compared to my 04 ram quad hemi,20 inch wheels
rear interior lights don't work,dash pops,headliner pops, outside pass. mirror whistles,high rpm's on warm or cold start,high idle,sputtering @25-35 mph,cup holders vibrate loose and cups fly out,stiffer ride, feel every bump ,gravel,or slight thing on the road (EVEN THROUGH THE GAS PEDDLE,I CAN FEEL THE ROAD AND GRAVEL ON MY FOOT)strange if i put my foot on the floor i can't feel it as much as i can on the peddle.... also i got better gas mileage w/ my old 04 ram,,,i replaced it w/ this 08 after it was stolen and totalled... same options same truck just 4 years newer .....I WISH I HAD MY 04 BACK ,,IT HAS NEVER BEEN IN SHOP FOR PROBLEMS ... i've already had my new truck in dealership 2xs ,they say it needs an computer update ???????? i bought it dec.07 - should'nt a 08 ram be updated when u buy it ? esp. when you buy it before 08????????? hmmmmmm? the sticker price was 41k ,thats alot a $ for lemons
