Default Rear inner fenders?

I bought a used 2002 quad cab which has plastic inner fenders on the rear half of the wheel well only. I thought no big deal until I went to the local dealer to drool on a Magnum and noticed that some of the Rams had a full inner fender. Since I live in the rust belt it seems like a much better idea to protect the front half of the wheel well also. Just wondering if anyone has changed and about what price it was? Or if I'm just wasting my time and money? Thanks for any responses!

They are easy to install and will save you a ton in the long run.[sm=goodidea.gif]

About $90 from dealer. Maybe something available after market, never checked. Holes predrilled on 04, tap screws included. Recommend using a simple screwdriver or set the torque drive on a low setting as the hole drilled is just slightly smaller than the screws provided. Mounted without jacking up the rear end or removing the tires. Intalled in 1O minutes. It took longer to move the creeper to the other side! Dodge got this one right. Mine are soft rubber similar to mud flaps flexibility, so I do not think the cold WI winters will make them brittle.

Why aren't they stock? Cause the design engineers have never washed their trucks in -10 degrees with the hope of losing 100# of ice/snow that has become embedded in the quarter panel bumper area. But more likely, the bean counters and their market analysis suggested I'd buy a pair; so why include it as standard or even in a package when you can get someone to buy it as a stand alone add on.

Engineers. Can't live with them, can't shoot them.[sm=lol.gif][sm=smiley2.gif]
