skid plates picture
I've searched Google and the forum for a real picture of the Mopar Skid Plates. I'm trying to make sure my dealer actually put them on my truck, because after going under there it looks like they might have lied to me.
The only pictures I have seen at all seem to be disclaimered that they are not the real picture.
Anyone able to help me out?
Thanks!

I agree, but humor us, show us a pic and we'll tell you if you have skid plates or not. Generally speaking, you will have one under yout transfer case/tranny and maybe one under your engine oil pan and possible another under your fuel tank. Take pics of those areas and post them.
If these are aftermarket/dress-up replacements, they should stand out like a sore thumb under there. But if there are OEM replacements for the originals, they may blend into the framework a little. I think you should still be able to see them pretty easily unless you just kneeled down next to the truck and took a quick peek.
About a week after buying my truck and looking at the window sticker it was supposed to have the skid plates with the TRX package but there are none on my truck. Either they were never installed or the previous owner which only put 7000 miles on the truck removed them, which I doubt.
This is the only thing I could see that looked like a plate at all:

Here are other pictures:

All of them are here.
Thanks again.

Based on the other pics you posted you only have a transfer case skid plate but oil pan skid plates are not too common and a fuel tank skid plate is not too needed because the fuel tank is way up in the frame.
Toyotas have a front skid plate. Aside from serious off roaders a front skid plate is really not needed and in the case of having a front diff the skid plate would be huge to cover the front diff.
