Default 2007 SLT reg cab diesel

I don't know why I dared drive onto the dodge lot, Thier was a black 2500 07 SLT reg cab 4wd diesel Sticker was 51,000 Cdn....Sales person comes running out, did not even notice my 06 2500 reg cab 4x4 patriot blue and clean, with a matching ARE SUV type topper....

First thing I notice, no trailer hitch, no can marker lights, no fog lights, no front tow hooks, no skid plate, no alum rims.

WTF. a diesel truck with no tow package, and a automatic, my hemi with the six sp and a lot more options was bought for 37,000 back in 06, I just turned away, got into my truck and drove off...

Now I do want a quad cab long box with the new cumins engine and six sp. and patriot blue...

you sure it wasn't an ST and not an SLT. that would explain the lack of almost everything.

The 07 was a SLT my 06 is A SLT, But that being said, thiers not a lot of diferance betwean the ST and SLT, SLT just gives you a better option list.

O. I thought that the standard ST package was kinda the bare minimum work truck type deal. ie painted steelies black plastic on top of the bumper instead of it being painted, and basically no bling bling. but since it was an SLT well I dunno I guess the dealer was just retarded when they got that truck for their lot lol. sometimes I don't think they have any clue what we want in a truck.

I agree, pay the 10 grand extra for the diesel and automatic, basicly a tow/work truck and no trailer hitch, defeats the whole purpose of having the diesel and this is in a reg cab truck....if you can wait the three months you better off factery ordering.

I looked when the '06's came out, was debating on putting $ into my Hemi (lift, tires, etc.) or getting the Diesel I always wanted.
They had a really sharp black CTD QC 4x4. Sticker was $43k. No Tow Pkg., No Tow Mirrors, No Fog Lamps, No Skid Plates, No LSD. My '04 Hemi QC 4x4 Laramie came with all that, plus a lot nicer interior. Then they come back and want my truck (18k miles at the time - showroom condition only 1.5 years old back then) and $22k. I walked out and ordered a Rancho Suspension Lift for my truck the next day.
Got a call the next day from the sales mgr.wanting to know if I was still interested, I told him NO! So THEN he tells me the salesman made a mistake on the allowance for my trade and if I came right in, that day and signed the papers, they would take $15k plus my truck.
I told him I was not interested...... I HATE STEALERSHIPS!!!
