Finally cranked 'em up!
Hey Guys,
Well, I finally did it. I got sick of the factory nose dive look, and cranked up my torsion bars the other day. I must say that I'm rather happy with the results. I definitely like the way that the truck sits much better now. And this may also seem odd - I've heard that this produces a harsh ride. Mine has seemed to have had the opposite effect! I don't cringe as much when I'm going over a bumpy road. The truck used to hit bumps pretty hard in the front, now it seems to go over them much better. There doesn't seem to be as much vibration at highway speeds, but it is still there...
I'm afraid that if I have an alignment done, I'll lose the benefits that I've gained. Any thoughts?

Oops, I should know that by now....
here are the pics. I raised it 2" in the front, not quite level - just a little under. Still looks way better though. There's also a pic of the new crane in the truck bed. Now all I need is the add a leaves to up the payload a little bit.

I have the torsion bars on mine, but they do sell spacers for yours pretty cheap on eBay. I've seen 'em reasonably priced. I almost bought a set of reindexed torsion keys for mine. Then I found out I didn't need 'em. The stock ones do the same thing!
I've seen the spacers and the springs, but I'm waiting until I can do a spindle lift. I don't want to have to deal with jacked up geometry that comes with spacers and taller springs. Every case that I've come across has been different for good and bad. I have yet to come across another 2006 RCSB 2wdthat has a leveling kit.that hasn't had some kind of issue either with the springs or the spacers. I'm just going to wait it out and go with the spindles.
Is this a 4WD thing only? I read the manual and could not find torsion bar height adjustment for 2WD.
