they have been spotted being tested along side the tundra, so im sure dodge is going to try to out do toyot. i have already decided to trade in 2009 for a 2010 model. have to give them a year to work the kinks out. i dont like being the guine pig.

I would love to upgrade. If I had the money, I'd definitely get the 2010 as well. I had the same thought as you on the guniea pig idea.

wells guys . word on the street is that dodge chevy and ford are all comin out with deisel engines for the half tons .. wouldn't that be nice .. dodge is supposed to have a 4.9 (i beleive) 6 cylinder with 350 horse and 500 torque .. slap a banks system on that and your movin

word is that he hp rating on the smaller cummins will be much below 300. probably more like 260-300hp and about 460lbs of torque from what ive read. the 6.7 cummins puts out the 350 hp. i believe the new cummins will be an 8 cylinder diesel as well. with some new downpiping, an intake and a programer it will be something to recon with.

thought the 5.9 diesel's are effectively discontinued and replaced with the 6.7 v8 diesel?

Im perfectly content with my 05'. Plus it would be a hell of alot cheaper to buy a few new mods to make it faster and give it more hp/torque than buying anew truck.With that being said,within the next 2-3yrs I will either be adding a CTD or Challenger to park along side it. Those are the only to vehicles that I like right now and would spend the money for.
