Why did you order another one? What happened to the first one?

+1. I love the mileage increase I get with mine too. In a year it will have paid itself off in fuel savings alone.

Will it hurt the motor in any way?
I'm new to programmers. I just don't want to hurt my hemi. I know a guy with a Ford that has one. He loves it and it has 3 settings tow, power and mileage. It's an Edge.

I'm wisihing my identical truck would do better than 10.6 mpg on the highway with the cruise set at 75.

nope.......well i can't speak for all of them, but superchips and bullydog operate within the factory parameters.

john m>>>>"10.6"? sounds like you have some underlying problem....on flat road i get about 23-24 hwy mpg with my programmer on the performance tune. i averaged about 21 on a 600 mile trip i took through some hill country.

Does anyone know about power/mileage gains with a chip in a 4.7 I'm getting about 14.5mpg now with the A/C on constantly.

To the best of my knowledge they don't make a chip for the 4.7.

I don't know how in the world you're highway mileage could be so bad! I have a TON of extra weight on mine and if I set the cruise on 75 and travel from my home to the farm in south Ga., I get upper 14's to low 15's WITH a 650lb. ATV in the back. I'm carrying a ton of weight, suspension lift w/subframe, 35" tires, grill/brush guards, winch, a toolbox that's gotta have 300+ lbs. of tools & mig welder in it, gear for a week of fishing/hunting. Before the lift & tires (winch, etc.) when mostly stock, except 33" tires & dual exhaust, I got right around 17mpg on those trips.
I've done some mods to help the fuel economy (CAI & E-FAN) but nothing to offset the huge weight difference between my truck and yours.
You may want to take a close look at your truck, possibly your throttle body is dirty, mine has been really dirty a couple of times and I've had to clean it out twice now (in 35k miles) and it's probably due again.
