Stopped at the dealer to enter to win a car tonight. Surprise, 2008 Ram 1500 sitting in the show room.

Overall the same. New Ram badge on the door. 1500 no longer there. New Big Horn badge. Other than that, I could not see anything different. Same cheap seats inside, big downer. They better have new seats with the new 09.

 

I'm stopping in tonight for the drawing myself. lol. I hope my dealer ahs the '08 in there as well!

 

Maybe hemiyellow can inform us if the seats are new or not? Not sure if hes "allowed" to give us just a yes or no or what his top secret profile entails.

 

ummmmm.....lol...well, cant really say...they got everything on the inside of the truck covered up cept the steering wheel lol...and i dont think they put too much into the "pilot" trucks since all they are used for is testing and that sort of stuff...but dont worry, when i find something out I'll be sure to keep yall in the loop.....

and just as an off subject side note...we have an SRT8 Grand Cherokee in there and we took it out for a spin today...all i can say..."holy frickin hell, that thing is damn fast and will plant you in the seat" lol

 

Well, I just got back form the dealer! WOOHOO! lol. The '08's aren't that much different. Actually, only a difference of badging... That's all!! The new "Big Horn" badge looks sick though! I would rather get an '07 still. Same truck, different badging. I heard from a little birdy that the Challengers don't come out 'til '09. The '09 Ram WILL BE badass. I know a lil' somethin' somethin' about the engine in that baby too!! I got more info but I don't wanna give it away for the sake of hemiyellow!

By the way, my dealer is great!! Great people, great customer service. It's just awesome! If you are in the So Cal area, specifically San Diego, come down here and buy from these guys! They are very professional and easy going. They will work for ya! Wow, I'm advertising for them... I guess that's what happens when the dealer is that great!

 

If they dont change the interiors I will be pissed. I loved the luxery of the fords, and when the sticker of this truck was higher than my king ranch I was a little upset. I love the engine and ride, but the inside is crap.

 

trust me man...whatever it is that you know, I'm sure that I know as well lol.....but yeah the challenger's wont be out until '09....and I'm 100% positive i know somethin bout the underside of the '09 ram that you dont lol

 

Yea I was at the dealership today gettin an oil change. I looked out in the lot and thought they were still all 07's. Well they were actually all 08's. Pretty sad that's a different model year truck, like you guys said, different badges, I noticed a different stiching pattern in the seats and a ram logo behind the rear view mirror. Boy am I kickin myself for not wating for the 08's

lol....hmmm speaking of which (i had a 94 ram 4x4 that didnt have a rear driveshaft so i drove it around with just the front prop shaft lol, but anyways) no no no......it's something that i never though i would see on a factory built truck and thats about all i can say lol
