It is about that time to change the oil in the Dodge!

I have some questions for you guys...
Why are so many people on here changing to Synthetic? What is the major difference between Synthetic and Conventional?

Go with Synthetic all the way.

 

Go synthetic, much better for the engine. Less friction, easier starts. I strongly suggest Amsoil full synthetic.

 

Synthetic all the way, Mobil 1 if you have a choice.

How much more $ a quart is synthetic over conventional?

 

if you change your oil every 3000 miles it doesnt matter one way or the other. I pamper my baby so, i use castrol full synthetic. kind of overkill being that i change it every 3000 miles.

 

Use conventional oil until the engine rings fully seat and the motor doesn't use any oil then change to the synthetic.

 

I've changed to Amsoil. According to the oil I've put in the ole Dodge it's good for 25000 miles or one year. I also got the Amsoil EA filter to go with the oil. I don't think that I will wait for a year(probably go 6 months between changes)

I would recommend fully synthetic everytime.
