Dose any one know if they sell color matched side moldings, or some that can be painted?all i can find is chrome ones. Also, correct me if im wrong, dosent the 06 slt model bring the side moldings painted?? Thanks in advance guys!

 

my '04 ram has the color matched side moldings....pretty sure it came with the Sport package....as for finding some that can be painted or something i dunno....could try paintin the regular grey ones maybe

 

well my truck didnt bring any so im looking to paint a set and install them ... any one know where i can get these?

 

You can paint them. I painted mine. Get an adhesive pomoter. Flexible primer / bumper coater. Sand smooth, paint and clear.

 

From the factory, the only body color moldings are either the Sport package or the Laramie package. That may have changed in 06+; I'm not sure.

 

On the '07, it was not available on the SLT in body color, only black. Sport model came with body color molding. Red

 

Thanks for the reply's guys... so the chrome ones can be sanded and painted correct? has any one done this?

 

My Big Horn Edition (SLT) came with colored body side moldings. I would imagine that you should be able to order them from the dealer with your paint code, so you would not need to sand and paint the chrome ones.
