Default Driving Light Install ??'s

I have a set of PIAA lights i want to mount behind my grill, spliced into the fog lights to tie these two together so i didn't have to install another switch and just wanted everything to be in sink. However, they work for about a second then flicker, then go out. Is this pulling too much power from the fuse or what? Is it better just to do it seperatly and i suppose hook the lights to the battery, is that the other option? Help please!

I'd go with it's own switch... god forbid your new lights bake your stock switch and then you have no lights.... Bet that would suck....

Power the lights from the battery, but run a relay that is swiched by your splice into the fog lights. Should take care of your problem and you still have it set up the way you wanted.

yeah do that, i did the same thing 3 years ago when i got my truck and it works great, only problem i had was teh screw in the bottom of the light is barely long enough to get through the rail, but it fits, i tihnk i had to take off one of the rubber seals that serve no purpose, mine are 100 watt off road lights and they will light up the entire sky at night for about 700 yards out, it'll blind people in front of me .. pretty funny

Dumb idea if you want to use your fog lights in fog.
