Almost a clean sweep for Dodge RAM!!!
Just picked up September issue of "Four Wheeler" magazine which featured their "Best Buy" awards for 2007.
Dodge RAM 1500 won for 1/2 Ton Pickup division.
Dodge RAM 2500 Power Wagon won for 3/4 Ton Pickup division.
Dodge RAM 2500 6.7 CTD won for Diesel Pickup Division.
Only place it lost was 1 ton division, came in 2ndto Ford F-350.
Chrysler over-all had a great showing as the Jeep Wrangler won Compact SUV division and the Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon won BEST OVERALL.
I'm surprised the Grand Cherokee didn't even place in it's division, as it has been a perennial favorite, but got beat out by Nissan, Hummer, Toyota & Lexus.

Remember, this is "4 Wheeler" magazine we're talking here... who has a stock truck to compete with 4.56 gears, Bilstein shocks, electronic disconnecting sway bars, full skids & rocker protection, Warn winch, front & rear lockers.....
They are looking at this truck from one standpoint only - off road capability! They don't care that it gets 8 miles to the gallon or any other issues not relating to wheelin'.
Just curious, what truckwould you expect to win the 3/4 ton division?

I have been getting a subscription to "Four Wheeler" for the past few years and almost always Dodge is the preferred truck. Most car magazines or Consumer Reports almost always give all Dodge Rams a last place because "it rides too rough like a truck"??? My value system is right with "Four Wheeler" when it comes to what I want a pick-up truck to be.I want a truckto preform like a truck not aSUV/station-wagon.Truck people buy the Dodge Ram.
