Has anyone used this kit before? Is it any good? How hard is it to change the rear shocks? Thanks !

I'm not familiar with that specific kit but i do have alot of friends running various different rough country kits in many different trucks and all of them seem to be well made. No problems that weren't cause by excessive beating...

Thanks. Can someone at least tell me if new front shocks are necessary? What will be the difference between keeping the stock shocks and getting new ones? If I do need new front shocks What size/how long? I was looking at the Rough Country 9000 to match the rear ones that come with this kit. Please someone help out. Thanks

You probably wont NEED them but i would recommend them. I have my truck leveled and when i go over pot holes and larger bumps my shocks top out. You'll need shocks that are 2.5" longer or have 2.5" more travel than stock to keep the same movement in the front end as stock. Im not sure if rough country makes them that size for our trucks you could try emailing a dealer and asking them directly.

You will not need new front shocks, 06's have strut assys and not just regular bolt on shocks. Rough country does make a new standard length strut shock for the 06 and up and is available with the front leveling kit. There is another thread with the specifics on the kit around here. Here is the thread.

Riddle me this, is this a leveling kit or a suspension lift? Their page seems a little confusing, at least to me.

I would say since it lifts the rear that it is a lift kit, if it only lifted the front then I would call it a leveling kit.

I think im going to go with it. I still want the rear a little higher because I tow the boat to the lake on the weekends and I dont want it to have its nose in the air look.

I would agree with you however the drop down menu states leveling kits not lift kits which throws me for a loop. The description states 2.5" lift but the rear only has a 1.5" lift so I am thinking a leveling and a lift kit, however back to the drop down menu, what is it in the drop down menu?
