Programmers - who likes what brand and why?
I was just wondering what people think is the better programmer. I know everyone has their own opinions of what works best, but I'd like some feed back on:
1. what kind you have ?
2. fuel MPG gains ?
3. Power gains ?
4. what you like about it ?
5. what you dislike about it ?
6. What year and what engine ?
And I know a lot of people out there know someone who has one and they said blah blah blah. I want to know what YOU have on YOUR truck and then answer the above questions. I have an 06 HEMI quad cab 4x4 35" tires and want some better gas mileage and/or power.

I haven't sprung for one yet. It bothers me greatly that they seem to be very vehicle-specific. I'd have to get one for my Chrysler 300 and my Ram, even though they both have hemis. Hard to justify spending $400 for something I'd apparently use only once or twice. I could put $400 into a set of headers. I guarantee I'd use that!

Back to the original questions:
1) Bully Dog
2) City: 2-4 mpg, HWY 5-6 mpg (Also helps with other mods)
3) Nothing on paper to show but really feel it through out the ride.
4) Cheaper than SC, same options, ease of use.
5) Slow on the programming of the truck. SC is faster.
6) '06 Hemi

I was fixing to ask the same questions. But I was going to wait til I have the green for one. I would like one mainly for mileage and troubleshooting. I'm really happy with the performance of my truck. If I'm not careful I will need to buy tires soon. But then again, this truck has more power than anything I have owned. I'm sure I would have to try all the settings.
My biggest concern is it hurting the engine or trans. It just seams to me if it richens the fuel mixture or makes it run lean, it might burn a valve or something. By the way, I'm no expert I'm just curious. I didn't mean to go off topic.
