I have a '06 QC 4x4 with 5.7 MDS and originally had added cat back duals (3" in, 2.25" dual out)Flowmaster 40 series, which sounded real nice andand a noticaible increase in HP on the hi end. However, I found out once Ipulled our tralier in the hills her in Colorado, that the 40 series had me losing the low end tourqe need to pull properly. After talking to my exhaust guy, who called his Flowmaster rep., the Hemi with MDS performs best with the Flowmaster Deltaflow 50 series. Now I have the best of both worlds, max HP on the high a low end. Just thought I'd share.

So you have the 50 series on yours now? how does it sound inside and out? I have an 07 mega cab and i was looking into getting the 50's. i was going to leave the front res on and just replace from the muffler back. Does this sound like a good thing to do? Have you had any problems with the engine lights coming on or odd noise when the MDS kicks in?

If you MDS, from what my exhaust guy researched for me is not only the 50 series, but the Delta Flow 50 series. It make a big difference when you have the MDS. The cabin noise is minimal. you can here it if you step on it but it's not overwhelming. I removed both front and rear res' at the advice of my exhaust guy in order to get the full potential of the muffler. I've had no problems with the engine, lights, etc.I have actually had my brother in-law, who is a Dodge service guy at the dealer run it on the computers and all the readings were normal with increased HP. The only other mod that I've done is added a K&N drop in air fileter which has made a bit of a difference. Next Mod will actually going to a K&N cold air intake.
