there is nothing in my haynes that says anything about an EGR system.
would it be called something else or did they just not put it in there.
also, what would removing to whole system do for me?

Only the 03's manufactured very late in the year had an EGR system (November and December I believe) Removing it will give you a CEL and will not give you any performance increase due to the EGR not being active at WOT. The EGR also helps with cooling the cylinders during normal driving. ( not exactly sure how that works). Head on over to hemitruckclub.com and you can download the complete Dodge maintenance manuals for all engines. It is 10x better than the Haynes manual.
