Looking at an 07. What is your opinion on them????
ORIGINAL: CMA
My 07 has 3500 miles and its a piece of ****. The transmission and/or the differnential make differnent whistling and whining noises. My truck sounds like a flute!
I recognize that mine is a lemon. The other trucks I test drove and rented did not have this problem.
The real issue is getting the dealer to take action. I have had multiple dealer visists and they all have said "they all do that" or "yeah I hear it, but we're not going to fix it becaus we dont think there is a problem." They are going to have to replace the tranny to find it which i am sure is very expensive.
NEVER NEVER NEVER buy a vehicle from a company in the throes of bankruptcy!
I read the occasional posts about lemon rams with bad trannies and did not think I would be one of them. Take a serious look at the Tundra -- they have 4K rebate now.

I love my 07 it kicks *** and it loves the mods. Even when I run it at the track it's almost as if she reacts and drives better forthenextfew days. I am very happy with itandit seems like a real tough truck.
It's common for more people to complain than praise, so if you see praise you gotta count it for 10 times what the complaint numbers are...
I just bought my 07 1500 QC 4x4 Hemi and I love it so far (854 miles in 8 days). My only complaint is the flip-out cup holder for the front seat seems like the design waisted alot of space.

I have a 06 QC 4x2 and I love my truck. The only thing I might have done different would be gettign a mega cab instead. All well. AS for the truck it self, I have about 14500 miles on it and no serious problems. Maybe it is to early to tell, but it is definatly a keeper.
07 1500 MC, 1900 miles so far, 2 months. LOVE this truck. Had Fords, Chevys, and GMCs, this is my first Dodge and I now hooked on the brand of truck that in the early 90's I SWORE I would never ride in, let alone actually BUY...My how times and quality change

As far as the original topic aside from a factory recall on a small part in my remote start I have 17k miles on my 07 without a problem.
Can't vouch for the '07's but I can tell you that my '04 has NEVER given me a problem of any kind in 3+ years and 35,000 miles, hell, I'm even on my original brake pads.
