Default cuting exhaust

Is there any problem with cutting the exhaust pipe right when it starts to bend behind the rear axle. Kind of like what the big diesel guys do when the truck is lifted 5 feet in the air. Im tying to go for a really clean look. Will there be a problem with exhaust vapors coming back in to the truck.

there shouldn't be, when your moving it will just flow behind the truck, and when your parked it should just be below the box anyway

...nope, kinda the best of both worlds with a dumped exhaust, dumps right after muffler are too loud, but over the axle gives it a nice deep rumble and not as loud as dumped...but better than stock

get a turn down pipe so you can angle the exhaust where you want the sound to go whether it be at an angle or straight down
