Today I went and had the 22in installed. I have to say it. Perfect (for me). I can't believe how much of a difference the 22in makes. Sounds awesome without all that cabin drone. Just thought i'l let everyone know.

 

did you take the reso. off or leave them on?

 

I took the reso off. It was off for the 18 also. I'm very happy with the results. Now my kids and I don't have to yell back and forth to each when trying to have a conversation.

 

So whats up with the Resonator If I take it off it will be less noise ? or more noise I getting to put some 4.10 gears in my truck so it will be reving higher up on the HWY around 2500 RPM's

I knowat this RPM I know it's going to be louder so in Short I remove the Res will this make it more Quite ?.

The truck sounds good Now but with turning more RRRR"s it going to be louder 2500 RPM's where the motor starts to rumble not real loud but you sure can tell the diffrents.

 

If you take your resonator off, you get louder.
