Default TV Tuner??????????

I am wondering about TV Tuners. I have the head rest dvd players and I am just wondering if I can put a TV tuner to them and get normal tv channels? Anyone that could give me some advice about these and how I might be able to hook them up? Thanks for the help.
Steve

I would post this in the audio visual section of the forum. There are a couple of A/V gods over that seem to know everything. You might get a better response, and quicker too.

BTW, welcome to the forum

It depends on your head unit. I have a Kenwood KVT-819DVD and it has 2 sets of AUX in ports. I have one being used for my iPod home dock, the other I have hooked into a TV tuner. It works alright depending on where you are and how fast you are going... Just remember back to the days of adjusting the antennas to get a good picture... it is the same... (At least for me) if I’m away from the city I find it hard to get a decent picture... or if I’m around too many tall buildings... ect... But yes most DVD head units come with at least 1 AUX and if that is free then you should be able to attach a TV tuner. Here is the Unit I’m using for my Kenwood (link). I hope this helps.
