Yea, I'd love to do that on my truck, I've played around with it many times, but if I do, I need to decide what I'm going to do with all of my chrome.
Everyone that has the eyelids on the '02-'05 style lights, did you just get some dark tint and put it on there, or how exactly did you do it?

Yep, they humm a bit. I kinda like it though...it's a constant reminder of how much of a bad-*** truck I'm rollin' in.

Whoa...where did you find them in black? I hate the silver stripe on mine...think they would cover it?

Are you talking about his rocker panels? If so, he just painted them. So you'd just have to paint over yours to get rid of the silver stripe down at the bottom.

Understood...eventually I'm gonna paint the whole truck, and get rid of the chrome...just not yet. I was hoping I'd found a quick, easy, temporary fix.

what year is your truck and did you use wheel spacers or not, i'm doing 3"body and a level kit on mine with the same tires.

It's an 04, no wheel spacers, no leveling kit. Just cranked up the TB's a little bit. The side biters rub on the sway bar at the steering lock (just barely). I cranked up TB's all the way earlier this week to see how much clearance I could get...they don't rub at all then. I'm putting a leveling kit on it, getting an alignment, and it will be done. Eventually, I'm gonna get some aftermarket wheels with a little more back spacing.
