This is my '06 Megacab next to a Volvo L350F loader, biggest that can be moved on the highway in one piece. The truck is stock for now, but the wishist grows everyday! Now to come up with some money to shrink the list somewhat....

New guy here, and first time truck owner.

Pics of the truck are here seen with a co-workers FJ.

http://www.precizion.org/tien/Truck/

It is a bare bones '03 4.7, 5 speed 4x4, quad cab. No power anything, and little options other than a class IV receiver. Makes a great daily driver and work truck.

First time Dodge owner as well as Ram 1500 owner. Loving the new truck, well its new to me! Purchased a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab. Its the base line truck with the 3l engine.Kind of wish i would have got into the 4 or 5l models especially going up long inclines. But since I was not going to be hauling heavy loads I would with the less powerful engine and save some gas $. Overall really enjoying it over my previous cars (altima and blazer).

Sorry this reply took so long. The KC HiLites Titanium cost about $160. That included the relay, all the wiring and the mounting hardware. I did install a second switch in the overhead console just for the driving lights. The power lead for the console switch runs down the driver's side A-pillar to the output side of the "master". I used the switch that came with the kit as a "master" switch mounted in the knee bolster under the steering wheel.

I just measured 2 3/4" in from the cross bar bracket to get a location for the lights themselves. The crossbar in front of the radiator works well for this and isn't hard to drill. There could be a depth issue for the lights, so be careful. I drilled a pilot hole and then enlarged it to the size of the bolts that came with the kit. Remember the old saying, "Measure twice, cut (or drill) once." I mounted the relay on the back of the battery box.

Really not a hard install at all. Some wiring experience will help, the instructions for the lights is kinda cryptic.

Here's a link to the pictures I took: http://picasaweb.google.com/MikeHTally/DrivingLightProject
Bear with me on labeling the pictures. Hope they're readable.
